Days 4, 5 and 6 - Relaxing, Then a Long Haul

So, first off, the reason why this update is late is because Uncle Troy and I went to Mississippi for a visit, and we didn't get back until yesterday. The day before we left (Friday) I didn't wake up until 12:30pm, and I never sleep in that late. When I got up, Uncle Troy made some eggs, sausage, and toast, and we didn't do anything that day, super hot outside. We just relaxed all day long and watched T.V. We had pizza for dinner.

Saturday, we woke up at 6am so we could get on the road for Mississippi. It was about a 5 - 6 hours drive there, but I slept most of the way. I definitely slept all the way through Louisiana, which is normal because I always sleep on long car rides. Just wait until we have to go to Iowa, more of the same I bet. When we got to Mississippi, it was like a small reunion for me and Jason, because we haven't seen each other in a really long time. We went for Jason's daughter's Birthday party, and it turned out to be so much fun. 

We had a blast, and while we were there Jason let me shoot his pellet gun at a Coors Light can. I messed that can up. I shot it a lot and I only missed 4 times. Turns out I'm not bad at shooting a scoped weapon. On the way there we stopped for some McDonalds for lunch, and for breakfast that morning we went to Taco Bell. I had the Breakfast Crunchwrap and Uncle Troy had a Breakfast Burrito. We went to sleep early Saturday night so we could get on the road back to Texas early. 

Sunday morning we said our final goodbyes around 7am and hit the road, stopping at the Waffle House for breakfast. Let me tell you, I've never had Waffle House until now and it's better than most of the breakfast places in East Peoria. I had the All-Star which came with 2 egg, 4 pieces of toast, a waffle, hashbrowns or grits, and a choice of meat. (Bacon, sausage, and ham). I chose bacon and hashbrowns. After we got done eating, we hit the road. I fell asleep again until halfway through Louisiana and stayed up the rest of the ride back.

We arrived around 1 or 1:30pm. When we got back we just relaxed and watched T.V. for a few hours. Uncle Troy had to go put his new mower blades on his mower and had to mow. I took Max out and let him run around for a little bit, until he got too hot and wanted to come inside. About 20 - 30 minutes later Max wanted to go back outside so I put him in the backyard, (The backyard has a fence around it) so he could go and run around. When Uncle Troy got done he put everything away and came inside to relax. Later on that night Uncle Troy made spaghetti with some garlic cheese bread for supper. 

Not a super big update, but this is vacation...more to come!
