So, today Uncle Troy woke me up at 8am so we could start the bonfire, we didn’t make it at 5am. It wasn't that hot out when we initially went out there to light it, but hotter and hotter as the morning wore on. Max went with us (Uncle Troy's dog) and he kept dragging sticks out from the pile before we got the fire started, but thankfully he kept running around and tired himself out so we were able to finally light it. Morning dew had everything wet, so we had to use gasoline
(it was a gasoline and oil mix for the chainsaw), and poured it on some wood to get it to light. It was slow, but after about 5 minutes it took off. After twenty minutes or so it was pretty much done so we went inside.
Uncle
Troy made us some eggs, toast, and sausage for breakfast, and it was really
good. After that I went into my room where I'm staying while down here and
started to watch TV. I watched X-Men Apocalypse, Fist Fight, and Underworld
Blood Worlds. Uncle Troy worked on his embroidery machine, and designed a patch
for me. He embroidered the patch for me
and it turned out pretty cool. Tomorrow we are going to try and sew it into my
shorts. Hope it works.
The
movies I watched were all really good, and while I was watching them I was
texting my mother Mary. She gave me her chili cheese dip recipe I asked her for
so we could make it while I’m here, which her chili cheese dip is literally to die
for.
So,
in the middle of watching Fist Fight, Uncle Troy knocked on my door and asked if
I would take Max out, and let him chase me on the 4-wheeler because he was full
of energy, which I did. He ran around me and in front of me which was annoying,
but he's a dog so I was just careful and kept on going. I
didn't ride into the woods because it was just me outside and I didn't want to
hit Max. I parked the 4-wheeler and took Max inside after he was exhausted and
ready to settle down. He lied on the cool tile as soon as he got inside. I went
back into my room and finished watching movies.
Later
on when I came out, Uncle Troy was playing the Xbox because it was too hot to
be outside, so I started to watch him play. We took turns playing, and when it
was my turn he made Digornio pepperoni and sausage pizza for dinner. For
dessert we had some cookies and cream ice cream we got from Wal-Mart yesterday.
After eating, we played Grand Theft Auto again, and I was teaching him how to
play it because he hasn't really played it yet. We were having way too much fun
driving by other people online and some of them would chase us around. It was a
blast.
Tomorrow
we plan to get up early and tear down one of the old sheds Uncle Troy has here,
it’s mostly rotted wood inside so shouldn’t be too hard. He wants to keep the
metal, but that’s it. Hope everyone is having a great summer!
