So I was going to do my update last night, but Uncle Troy and I
were both playing games, so when it was bed time we just went to bed. This update is for yesterday, and I’ll do one
for today…tonight.

Uncle Troy woke me up at 830am. We had eggs and sausage again. After
breakfast he started working on the Batman patch with the letters “DV” for me, doing
another practice run with his embroidery machine. When it got done, we glued
the stitches and set it aside to dry. It can take a while to dry, so we went to
Tractor Supply to get a bag of dog food and some lag bolts. After that we
stopped by Lowe's to look around, and while there Uncle Troy got some wood for
a door vent he is going to build into the furnace door. The vent that’s there
now doesn’t let in enough air so it hums if the door is closed. After that we
went to Wal-Mart to get the ingredients for chili cheese dip. I got some couple
of shorts and t-shirts, and some more apple juice because we drink a lot of
apple juice.
When we got back to the house we relaxed for a little bit until
the shed was in the shade, then we went out to cut down some vines and bushes.
We also cut down a pretty tall tree that was next to the shed. I had to get the
4-wheeler and the trailer over there for moving the stuff we cut down, which
wasn't that hard. The hard part was chopping the big branches and cutting down
the tree. It took about three full trailer trips of branches, vines and leaves.
I used the hatchet to make some of the branches shorter so they would fit in
the trailer.
When we got done we went inside and had to scrub our hands and
arms to make sure we didn't get poison ivy. Luckily we didn't get poison ivy.
After I was all cleaned up, I started to make the chili cheese dip, which took
about about a hour. The chili cheese dip turned out really good so I say thank
you to Mary for that. We watched some T.V. and relaxed.
Later on I went into my room and watched a couple of shows I
wanted to see, then after an hour or so I went out and started to watch Uncle
Troy playing Skyrim. He was teaching me how to play and all the cool stuff
that's in the game. And while we were playing Skyrim, we started to download another
game on his computer (an old favorite of ours!). We were downloading Renegade
X. It was a Command and Conquer game he showed me when I was little and I
forgot all about it. The download took forever, but it finally got done a
little after 11pm. While it was downloading, I played DOOM and was kicking
butt. We don’t play video games here before 6pm, so got to find something to do
today. It gets super-hot outside, so we’re
not going out until evening or early morning to work.
